Schools catered accommodation

Snoozing students? You bet. Your students will sleep easy in our lakeside dorm style lodge rooms. Separate teacher’s rooms are close by, so you can get a good nights sleep while keeping an eye on your students.

Our lakeside lodges sleep approx. 28 people, mostly with four students per room and a teachers room, both with ensuites. Our lodges are recently renovated and have large common rooms with spanning views across Lake Macquarie.

Acacia and Grevillea lodges are accessible for people with a disability.

Our meals

The dining hall is the beating heart of our centre. The scene of healthy and nutritious daily meals, rowdy chatter and satisfied faces. We know your students will love our meals, but so will their parents. Our catering team understand what needs to be done with allergies and special diets, and lovingly prepare all our meals to the highest standards. Students are encouraged to try new foods as part of the camp experience with the understanding there will be some fussy eaters. Our camp experts work with you to meet these needs.

To contribute a positive camp community, students may be involved in helping with kitchen duties such as washing up and ensuring the dining area is clean at the end of meals.

Teachers will love our food too, with specially prepared meal options and our camp experts organising and managing students during meal times. This provides an opportunity for teachers to have a well-deserved break and enjoy their meals as a group with teachers sat separately.

“I love coming to point Wolly, because the staff are awesome, the food is great, and the kids get to do some real life jobs like being in the kitchen and serving and washing up and having meaningful duties while they are at camp. I think another great thing the kids get a lot from, is that other schools come to camp too so they get to interact with kids that they might not normally interact with. I just love coming to Point Wolly..its great!”
