BROKEN

BAY.

ESCAPE THE GRIND TO PARADISE.

Hawkesbury

We get it. School camp is a big deal for kids, teachers and parents. That’s why the team at Broken Bay Sport and Recreation Centre will make your camp experience the best it can be.

Having a combination of a bush and beach experience, get off grid and let yourself be surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of your own private beach, native wildlife, scenic lookouts and leafy surrounds. As our centre is only accessible by water, the natural untouched bush and an array of top facilities and activities make Broken Bay the perfect place for your next camp.

With panoramic views spanning across Lion Island, Barrenjoey Lighthouse and Patonga Beach, it’s no surprise that Broken Bay has been described by so many of our camp goers as one of the most beautiful places on earth.

Bathed in tranquillity, Broken Bay is an ideal location to have an amazing camp experience to build class cohesion and treat kids to an incredible experience.

Broken Bay offers high quality, clean accommodation that is fully catered for numbers of up to 192 people including schools, or community and sporting groups. We also have the option of self-contained holiday units for sporting teams, families and corporate or community groups with a capacity of up to 28 people in our self-contained accommodation.

Schools catered accommodation

Our dormitory-style lodge accommodation sits amongst the trees and sleep up to 20 people per room with shared ensuite bathrooms and separate ensuite rooms. There is a common dining hall for meals.

Our meals

The dining hall is the beating heart of our centre. The scene of healthy and nutritious daily meals, rowdy chatter and satisfied faces. We know your students will love our meals, but so will their parents. Our catering team understand what needs to be done with allergies and special diets, and lovingly prepare all our meals to the highest standards. Students are encouraged to try new foods as part of the camp experience with the understanding there will be some fussy eaters. Our camp experts work with you to meet these needs.

Clients are asked not to share their food with other clients under any circumstance or to take food from other clients as each client has their own dietary requirements and this is to reduce the risk of cross contamination.

Find out more about processes and procedures in place to manage allergies and anaphylaxis.

“Broken Bay has a really beautiful natural environment – our kids have been able experience the beach, wake up to the waves, they’ve enjoyed being in a nice green space like this, which is not what we have at home.”

– Karen, teacher, Denison College, Bathurst High School
