ACCOMMODATION AND MEALS
We’ve got room at Borambola for 160 students with dorm style accommodation for students and private rooms just adjacent for teachers.
Schools catered accommodation
All our school accommodation is fully catered, also offering wheelchair accessibility in multiple rooms. Our catered accommodation is also available for booking by sporting groups, community groups or families.
Our meals
The dining hall is the beating heart of our centre. The scene of healthy and nutritious daily meals, rowdy chatter and satisfied faces. We know your students will love our meals, but so will their parents. Our catering team understand what needs to be done with allergies and special diets, and lovingly prepare all our meals to the highest standards. Students are encouraged to try new foods as part of the camp experience with the understanding there will be some fussy eaters. Our camp experts work with you to meet these needs.
Clients are asked not to share their food with other clients under any circumstance or to take food from other clients as each client has their own dietary requirements and this is to reduce the risk of cross contamination.
Find out more about processes and procedures in place to manage allergies and anaphylaxis.
“We really see kids here at camp who
excel here rather than in the classroom. These are kids who aren’t as academic, and kids who are really shy come out of their shells and thrive. I was
watching a child who normally doesn’t have a go at new things, suddenly ready to go for the next activity. And there they were first in the line.”
– Jane, teacher, Melrose Public School
