ABOUT
THE OFFICE OF SPORT.

BUILDING
ACTIVE
COMMUNITIES

Our story started in the 1930’s when Australia’s interest in sport and physical fitness was growing. We’ve had a few different names over the years, but our commitment to a more active NSW has always been there. As a trusted premier outdoor education provider with 70 years’ experience we’ve put smiles on the faces of thousands of kids from across NSW and beyond.

At camp, everyone’s a winner, with each of our 10 Sport and Recreation Centres and four Olympic Venues offering a wide range of activities and tailored programs across all seasons and abilities. When we’re not at camp we’re busy building programs, places and spaces that build active communities and support the NSW sport and active recreation sector.

The Office of Sport works with key sector partners to develop a vibrant and valued sport and active recreation sector that enhances the lives of the people of NSW. The Office of Sport is a public service executive agency related to the Department of Communities and Justice.
