Camps are a memorable and enriching experience for both students and teachers alike. In order to make your stay as relaxed as possible, we work with you and your school to ensure that everything goes to plan. This includes designing and delivering your program, organising and coordinating mealtimes, evening activities and assemblies, as well as providing first aid and 24-hour on-call assistance. Our experienced and passionate school camp programs team – many of whom are teachers themselves understand how to engage with students to take the work out of teachers’ hands to ensure a rewarding experience for all involved. Our camp activities are custom designed around the learning and development needs of students to help build their skills in leadership, resilience and self-confidence.

In addition to our fantastic activities, the Office of Sport’s experienced team ensures teachers can stress less before camp with a streamlined online application process and enjoy the comforts of home when at camp, with great facilities.

Whether you would like to improve class communication, strengthen students’ team-building capabilities, overcome obstacles or tackle bullying issues, our friendly and experienced Office of Sport program team will work with you to best support your school’s objectives and needs with exciting and challenging activities and experiences.

When your school books a school camp with the Office of Sport, our team will ask you about your focus objectives, rather than just the activities you are interested in. This allows our program team at each of our 10 sport and rec centres to design a tailor-made program to suit your student’s needs. All of our activities can be facilitated in a variety of ways to focus on specific outcomes.

Not sure where to start? A solution to this is our signature program ROAR (Relationships, Outdoors, Physical Activity and Resilience) which is adapted for both primary and secondary school students and is able to be further customised to best meet your school’s focus objectives.

Please see the Our Programs page for more information on your next customised camp program.
